It is Sweater Season!

The autumn weather is here. It is the perfect time to bring those sweaters and cardigan’s out of hiding. This beautiful cardigan is from Chico’s. I love the fact it is a soft cotton knit with lovely autumn colors of rust, browns, yellows and blacks. The background is a perfect off white color. I decided to belt it but it can be worn open since there are no buttons.

The woven print is both front and back and it is so visually pretty. Don’t you think?

I love a good pair of denim jeggings. And by good I mean stylish and comfortable! These are from Diane Gilman for HSN. When I visited family in Tampa I shopped at the HSN Outlet nearby. Talk about bargains!

The black suede wedge shoes are Antonio Melani at Dillard’s.

So, grab that pumpkin spice ANYTHING, start your first fire of the season and enjoy. The snow will be here before we know it!

Army Vest with a twist of GLAM!

I decided to channel my inner “Private Benjamin”! Do you remember that funny movie with Goldie Hawn? I loved it. This army green vest is so cute and warm too. The colorful patches and faux fur hood give it that fun and GLAM factor I love. It features front pockets, flattering drawstring waist, hidden zipper and snap front closure. The vest is from Stein Mart. They have such great pieces at fabulous prices!

The jeggings I am wearing are my favorite from New York & Co. They come in different colors, washes and distress levels AND they have soooo much stretch. The black cashmere turtleneck is from Talbot’s and the black suede over the knee boots are from Belk (last season).

This is casual and chic winter style. I hope I have inspired YOU to channel your own personal style!

Kate Spade Coat

Is winter over yet?  Not according to the groundhog community!  Which means I will be wearing this beautiful wool Kate Spade coat just a little longer.  The bow in the back makes it so adorable!  One of the benefits of winter, for me, is skiing  and the beautiful fashions...coats included!

The style of this coat is timeless. The details are perfect and you can dress this up with slacks or some black leather leggings.  The ruched black scarf is Talbots and the sunglasses are Gucci.  The denim leggings I live in are from New York & CO.  Kate Spade is truly one of my favorite designers.  Her items are very feminine yet timeless and her quality is fantastic.  This is one coat I will have and wear for many years to come.

Sweater Weather and Velvet Booties

I truly love comfort while staying on trend. A cozy sweater with a fun side tie knot and comfy paisley velvet booties make running thru a busy day look chic and pulled together! The sweater is soft, true to size and how cute is that side knot? The velvet booties have a classic look with a paisley pattern and the heel height is perfect.

Both the sweater and ankle boots are from Nordstrom. I bought them during their much awaited Anniversary Sale and have been waiting for the weather to cooperate with my wardrobe selections. Finally!
