Oversized Sweater and Chicos Leggings

Happy New 2018!  Who doesn't want to start the year in comfort while looking stylish!?  The Christmas season can be so hectic.  By the time the New Year rolls around I want to go into "hibernation" mode!  Well, who am I kidding?  An oversized boxy pullover sweater and animal print leggings are just what I like and it checks off all the must haves!  This cozy black sweater is by BCBGMAXAZARIA.  It has a soft turtleneck and wide short sleeves.  I love adding long necklaces...the more merrier, right?

These animal print leggings are sooo comfortable AND stylish.  They are from one of my favorite places to shop...CHICOS!  You could dress them up or down.  Cute ballet flats would look so effortless while running errands and hitting up all the after Christmas sales.   I paired this outfit with some peep toe stacked heel booties from New York & CO.  Maybe drinks with the girls or date night with your sweetie after all that shopping?

BLACK BOOTIES.jpg

Are these booties not perfect?  New York & CO is not my usual go-to for shoe shopping but I saw them and knew they would work with so many outfits!  FYI...nails are OPI Red, just sayin'.....

This is the perfect outfit to start the new year.  Comfortable and stylish. The sweater is longer in the back so it covers you beautifully. (I love that it is hiding all the egg nog I enjoyed last month)  And who doesn't love a little animal print in the mix?  Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my blog.  Your support means a lot!  I wish you and yours a very HEALTHY, HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS 2018!

Christmas Day Outfit

This super comfy sweater dress is what I wore for Christmas Day dinner at Alpenrose Restaurant in Vail, CO.  It is by  Cremieux Collection and I  found this one at Dillard's.

XMAS DAY 2017.jpg

The dress is cozy and comfy and I love the cowl neck.  It has a little bit of sparkle in the threads and mini sequins. Very festive!  I found these fabulous velvet pull-on boots at Neiman Marcus and they are by Donald Pliner. The kitten heels are comfortable while walking around in Vail Village on our way to cocktails at the Sonnenalp Hotel.  They do such a beautiful job decorating for the holidays!

DENNIS BASSO FAUX FUR.jpg

This is such a fun faux fur coat!  I love the colors and it feels AMAZING!  It is designed by Dennis Basso and can be found at QVC.  I am not sure if it is still available as I have had it for several years.  BUT...he has many designs online.

Hope you are staying warm & having fun!

Green Fit & Flare Dress

What a pretty green fit and flare dress!  What attracted me at first was the lovely green color BUT what sold me was the embellished neckline and arms.  Just the perfect amount of sparkle.  I found this dress at Dillard's and it is by Belle Badgley Mischka Collection.

The hemline is perfect as I am not fond of anything that hits me too high above the knee. It moves very gracefully and I just feel great when I wear it!  That's the whole point of fashion, right?

GGG XMAS 17 (2).jpg

The embellishment is so pretty!  Similar to a star pattern and I would be comfortable wearing this to a dressy lunch as I would for a casual New Years Eve.  It's just that versatile!

Here is a close up view of the front.  Simple, elegant, colorful and comfortable!  I collect angels and I sometimes have them out all year long.  Don't worry, my Christmas lights don't suffer the same fate!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing my passion for fashion.

Happy New Year!

Faux Real!

This is one of my all time favorite purchases!  Does this coat look like total luxury?  YES! But....it is FAUX FUR done to perfection! The black faux fur glows and has such great depth and movement.  At a fraction of the cost!  #WINNING!! This beauty is from the Pamela McCoy Collection.  Her faux fur collection is AMAZING!

The coat has a beautiful collar and sleeves that are ruched to keep you toasty warm.  The faux pelts are  horizontal, look so great and make you look taller and slim.  The length is perfect for more formal events or if its just to dang cold!  Two simple buttons at the neck and hook closures down the front along with two deep pockets complete the beautiful design.  I have this coat in faux brown mink too and my big regret is not buying it in the black and white chinchilla pattern.  What the heck was I thinking??  Maybe next time?

An elegant yet fun clutch is what I have been carrying to all the holiday functions. "Naughty" on one side "Nice" on the other.  How cute is that?

Pamela McCoy has a beautiful and extensive line of faux fur coats and I encourage you to look them up. They can be found at Evine.

Stay Warm!

Red and Gold Tapestry Duster

I do love tapestry.  I love the fabric!  Let's face it, I rather dream of pretty clothes than sugarplums dancing in my head. Those sugarplums go straight to my posterior, ugh.   Who needs THAT!  And I know you NEED this GORGEOUS tapestry duster coat!  It comes in three stunning color combinations.  Thank you Susan Graver and QVC for this design! This jacket is beautifully done but the back design is stunning. Pleated and slightly longer.  Full of drama!

Since the volume and drama of this outfit was all  about the jacket I wanted to keep everything else subtle. I paired the jacket with velvet leggings and I'm wearing a Talbots cashmere sweater underneath and satin d'orsay pumps.

I love jewelry and this necklace is one of my favorites.  It is from the Audrey Hepburn Collection for HSN. They  feel and look great.  Honestly, the photo does not do them justice.

I love the back of this jacket!!  I feel like I'm wearing tuxedo tails! Ha! What I like the most is that it is not overwhelming or too warm.  You can wear it indoors and look chic!  I'm seriously thinking of buying this one in another color...just don't tell my darling husband.  Our secret, ok?

Don't forget to subscribe to my blog that way you won't miss a thing!

Cheers!

Naughty & Nice

Another reason to celebrate and look great while singing those Christmas Carols or maybe spinning that dreidel????  Whatever you chose to do you will look and feel beautiful wearing this dress. i know I did when I wore this to a recent holiday dinner.   Adrianna Papell does such a classy job with designs and fabrics.

This is such a beautiful floral dress and the fit and flare style is one of my favorites.  So very festive!  The bonus is the skirt has a built in crinoline slip and pockets.

GGG XMAS 17 (2).jpg

Now, lets talk about this adorable clutch!!!  Who's been naughty AND nice?  I'm probably on both lists.  Go figure!.  Found this fun clutch in the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book for under $70.00.  It is a conversation starter for sure!

GGG XMAS 17.jpg

The rose gold pave bangles add a touch of subtle sparkle to the bold floral dress. They are by Joan Boyce.

Naughty or Nice?  That's for Santa to figure out.  In the meantime, I got more shopping to do!

A Christmas Ball Gown

This formal gown is Beautiful!  I could have REALLY danced ALL NIGHT!  Where is the von Trapp Family when you need them!??  Nevertheless, I still had a wonderful time when I wore this to a black tie holiday party recently.

XMAS BALL GOWN (1).jpg
103bt.jpg

The ball gown is by Adrianna Papell and I bought it at Dillard's.  Blue is my favorite color and the top has gorgeous blue and off white embroidered lace.  A bow at the waist makes it so feminine but the BEST PART is that the skirt has POCKETS!!!  #HAPPY DANCE!  My Estee Lauder lipstick in Vengeful Red (wearing here) spent the entire night in my pocket for quick touch-ups.  I also liked that the skirt is designed shorter at the front and longer in the back. It even has an old fashioned crinoline!   And when you walk it just flows with such elegance...pass the champagne, please.

These shoes are perfect for this dress.  A silver sparkle with a slight blue hue.  They have been in my closet for years.  They were designed by Adrienne Maloof of Housewives of Beverly Hills fame.  I have not see her line in ages, so...unfortunately not available.  But, you get the picture.

I wish you a blessed Holiday Season! Be Happy. Be Blessed. Be Glamourous.

Track Suit Meets Tuxedo

The track suit is BACK!  Did it really ever go away?  But this one is elevated to fashion that belongs at a tree trimming party, cocktails with friends, entertaining for the holidays or at any time!  First of all, it is velvet and the fun part is it has a tuxedo stripped pant!  This is casual glam perfection. I added a pair of pearl studded slides and some fun jewelry. Let's just say I would not be embarrassed to open the door to  UPS delivery wearing this. The zippered top also has the tuxedo detail and the ever present hoodie I LOVE. (Because I'm always cold).

The suit is by Serena Williams for HSN and comes in an array of colors. The slides are Catherine Malandrino.  I hope this look helps you when entertaining this holiday season and all winter long

Cheers!

Sweater Weather and Velvet Booties

I truly love comfort while staying on trend. A cozy sweater with a fun side tie knot and comfy paisley velvet booties make running thru a busy day look chic and pulled together! The sweater is soft, true to size and how cute is that side knot? The velvet booties have a classic look with a paisley pattern and the heel height is perfect.

Both the sweater and ankle boots are from Nordstrom. I bought them during their much awaited Anniversary Sale and have been waiting for the weather to cooperate with my wardrobe selections. Finally!

Thanks for stopping by! Now...Shop On!

The Must Have Embroidered Moto Jacket

I must say I have ALWAYS been a lover of anything that is embroidered. This fall season had me doing cartwheels! So many great clothing pieces are embellished and embroidered, from denim jeans to velvet jackets and dresses. When I saw this little number I knew it would be perfect.

Ok, I know what you are thinking....another BLACK motorcycle jacket? Well, what I love about this one is that it is faux-leather and it has a bit of stretch so I don't feel stiff while wearing it. But it's all in the embroidery. The pretty blue floral pattern on the sleeves, the slight asymmetrical zipper and the simple collar makes this one classy and effortless. Not to mention that it is available in other colors! I have paired it with a simple spaghetti strap culottes/ jumper and black accessories and my favorite pearl necklace. But I know I will be wearing it with jeans and a t-shirt too.

I may not have a Harley-Davidson but I know I will be going places in this classic piece!

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a great day!
xoxo
